This project would not be possible without the help of everyone who has contributed to the archive. When I first started this project, I thought I would get ten letters at the most—seeing that there were more than double that amount of people who were as excited about exploring this topic and growing this archive as I am truly made me speechless. All I can say is thank you, I could genuinely not have done any of this without you all!

I need to thank my professors who have worked with me and supported me throughout this entire process, Will Ryan and Hope Tucker. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into helping me develop this project. This project has gone through many different iterations, and I have as well. The support and encouragement you both have provided me throughout this entire process is something I feel I could never entirely give enough thanks to.

I want to thank my family, both found and biological. To my mum and dad, who helped me since day one to achieve my academic and independent potential, thank you. To my siblings and two cousins who played the roles as my first best friends, who, along with my parents, provided me love and support to grow to be the best me I can be, thank you.

To my found family, the high school sisters, and their families who have welcomed me into their homes and hearts as one of their own, thank you.

To the found family I have made here at Hampshire, THANK YOU! It is with you I feel I have learned, grown, and changed the most. I will forever be grateful for all the love, support, and memories you have helped me create. I genuinely believe my Hampshire experience would not have been as unique, as spectacular, as electric, if I had not met all of you! Thank you for being in my life.

Bio and found, I thank the universe every day that y’all are in my life!

I want to thank my education. Every educator I have had from preschool to undergrad, and every educator I may have in the future. The gift of knowledge is one I will always be thankful for.

Lastly, I would like to thank every stranger who has ever stopped to have a conversation with me. You’ve helped give me so many more stories to tell.
